Staying Hydrated

When you’re TTC, staying hydrated is REALLY important.

Dehydration is one of the biggest causes of unhealthy periods and non-fertile cervical mucus- which is pretty much like nutrient-rich compost for your little seed. You need it.⠀⠀⠀

Add any or all of these 3 ingredients to your water to give it some zing and help it go down. Aim for 2 litres a day!

  • A Splash of Apple Cider Vinegar – just a small splash gives your water a subtle sweet tang to it. It’s said to kill bacteria (great immune boost!), regulate blood sugar levels and provide probiotics (keeping your gut bacteria in good shape).
  • A squeeze of lemon juice – who doesn’t like this one? Add a dose of immune boosting Vitamin C to your water. Lemon pulp also aids digestion and helps detox your liver.
  • A Sprig of Mint this one is just delicious! But guess what…it’s ALSO good for your digestion and your liver. It can give you an added mood boost too.

Which one are you going to try today?
