Hello, I’m Sally Varley – an acupuncturist and holistic health coach of 14 years.
I’ve had my own private practice since 2012, after completing three years of full-time acupuncture studies in the beautiful mountain town of Nelson, BC, Canada. That training, combined with years of experience, has shaped the way I work — with care, depth, and attention to the whole person, not just their symptoms.
Acupuncture is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which I love for its deep understanding of the body-mind connection and the way it explores wellbeing from a different perspective.
Since graduating in Sociology from the University of Edinburgh in 1997, I’ve also trained in Business and Life Coaching, Career Development, University Outreach, Reiki, Nutrition, Fertility, Menopause, Massage, Food Intolerance Testing, and Phlebotomy.
My work encompasses more than just acupuncture. It’s about advice, guidance, health, coaching, and truly connecting with people. I have a core focus on women’s health, however, what really matters is addressing the root causes behind the symptoms — whether that’s stress, burnout, relationship challenges, or unfulfilled personal goals.
I look forward to helping you feel seen, heard, and supported — and to guiding you toward a more vibrant, balanced life.
